1. Overview
Say It Last is a private digital vault for your most important information.
It protects what matters — financial details, final instructions, personal notes — and delivers it securely to your Trusted Contact only when the time is right.
Everything is encrypted client-side. No one at Say It Last can view, recover, or modify your data. The system simply ensures that your chosen person receives what they need, when they’re meant to — not before.
2. Getting Started
Step 1 – Create Your Account
Download Say It Last from the App Store or Google Play.
Sign up with your email address.
Choose a strong passphrase — it encrypts your vault and cannot be recovered if forgotten.
Step 2 – Verify Your Email
You’ll receive a verification email.
Click the link to confirm and unlock your private vault.
No phone numbers or SMS messages are used — email only.
Step 3 – Set Up Your Vault
Inside your vault, you’ll see categories such as:
Personal Information
Accounts & Passwords
Insurance & Legal Documents
Final Wishes & Notes
Add as many “Accounts” as you wish — each one is stored as an encrypted entry.
3. Adding a Trusted Contact
Your Trusted Contact (TC) is the person who will gain access when your toggle activates.
Enter their email address.
They’ll receive a secure invitation explaining their role.
The TC creates their own passphrase.
Until the toggle activates, they cannot see any of your information — only a confirmation that they’ve been designated.
4. The Toggle System
Your toggle is the heart of Say It Last — a private timer that decides when your information is released.
Set your check-in frequency (for example, every 30 days).
When Say It Last sends you an email reminder, simply confirm that you’re active.
If reminders go unanswered through your safety window, the toggle activates and the Trusted Contact receives a secure access email.
You can cancel or reset the countdown at any time from your dashboard.
No SMS or push notifications are used — everything runs through secure email.
5. Managing Your Vault
Add, edit, or delete entries at any time.
Group items into folders for clarity.
Updates sync automatically across devices.
Your data remains encrypted at all times — even during edits.

7. Upgrades & Downgrades
Upgrading
You can upgrade anytime through Settings → Manage Plan.
Stripe automatically prorates your remaining balance toward the new plan.
You’ll receive a confirmation email once your new tier is active.
Downgrading
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
You may request a credit or partial refund for unused time if within Stripe’s refund window (usually 30 days).
Lifetime plans are one-time, non-refundable purchases.
8. Security & Privacy
Every vault action is logged in an immutable audit trail.
Say It Last support staff cannot decrypt or access your data.
Password resets are only possible with your passphrase.
Data is protected using client-side encryption and secure key storage.

9. Support & Recovery
If you need help:
Email support at info@sayitlast.com.
Support can verify your identity and resend verification emails, but cannot see or restore vault content.
